I received a very worrisome "billing" for an amount that I had never heard of before. I rushed home so that I could rectify this situation before the holiday week-end approaching the very next day!

My repeated telephone calls were not returned; this website has given me piece of mind, and I am very thankful!

Go to www.fair-debt-collection.com and find the link for disputing debts. Then go to Initial Dispute letter. Copy and paste to your Word program and make all necessary changes to personalize it. Send this CERTIFIED MAIL, RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED to their street address. You can find that in my posting from March or April of this year.

What you will get back is NOT legal documentation but rather some stupid notarized letter, more than likely from a Jeff Garrington. THIS IS NOT PROOF OF ANYTHING. File complaints with the FTC, BBB, your state's AG and the IL AG. You should also file mail fraud charges against CAMCO with the USPS.

They'll drop contacting you afterward.

Good Luck!
