Complaint Review: Capital Choice Consumer Credit

I received a approval certificate in the mail on 1/7/02 saying I was approved (like everyone else) for 5,000 I was excited this would of been my first Credit Card. I mailed them the 43.00 for them to rush this to me. I have been checking my bank account everyday since I sent them the check to see if the check cleared. It has now been 17 days and I am thinking I know they received my money where is my Credit Card.

I even rush from work to get home to check the mail to see if I received the CC. I called my back to see if the check cleared. They claimed it did not clear but there was an automatic withdrawal from a company named CCCC come through today. I was thinking d**n something is up. This is weird the check never cleared but 43.00 was deducted from my account.

I then spoke with Bookeeping to see why it came through as a Autmatic withdrawal. I did not approve the CC company to do this. I got no where with this girl so I started searching on line and I found this web site today. I then called the bank for the 5th time and they worked with me and stopped payment not only on the check but will not allow any company (since this company goes by so many different names) to ever withdraw money from my account again.

Also my bank did not charge me for this process. Which I am thankfull for. I do feel for the people that got scamed and nothing in return. I am just thankfull that I got this stopped before the transaction went through tonight. Please people beware
