I wondered why a company would give someone with my credit rating a 5000K credit line with 0% interest for the a year. To add to the irony I was with an attorney today to begin filing bankruptcy. So, I read the fine blue print on the back and not only discovered that it is not a "bank" credit card, but more along the lines of a catalog credit card. I could not use this in a dept. store, mechanic or even the grocery store. Only to buy merchandise from a catalog that this company produces. And they mention that the item in the picture in the catalog may not be a good representation of the merchandise you receive. That is not all though, your purchases, until you receive you "bank" card throught the "Rewards Program", require a 35% downpayment and a standard 15% shipping fee. Since when is 15% a standard shipping fee. My first thought was to send a check for the rush delivery of my new credit card. Thank goodness I read the back and had the sense to check the web. I searched on google for the name of the company, and this is the first web site that came up. Now, my question is, how do they know I have bad credit. I read a few of the reports submitted and understand a lot of you also have bad credit. So, I am guessin that we have all done something recently. I have purchased an automobile at an unfriendly interest rate through Household Automotive Finance Corporation, and applied for a few credit cards over the web. Do any of you have this in common with me. If you do, please email me at tzflyboy1978@aol.com We need to get these people so innocent people do not suffer because of this scam!
