Capital Choice Consumer Credit ripoff consumer fraud ripoff Miami Florida *EDitor's note *UPDATED info
As I had just received a bonified credit card two months ago, I was not surprised when I received the "Approval Certificate" from Capital Choice Consumer Credit, boasting zero percent annual rates, and an automatic $5000 limit.
Thinking they got my name from a mailing list, I assumed they were simply another company vying for my business with a better offer, and that they too were bonified.
I called them and spoke to a representative who answered my questions more than adequately and professionally, and even verified the "approval Number" on my certificate dated April 5, 2002.
I felt comfortable enough to relinquish $43.00 by mail. It has been about two weeks. When I called to see the status of my account yesterday morning, all I got was a busy signal.
It is then I decided to look them up on the net. You can imagine my surprise when I found the "Ripoff Report" instead of "Capital Choice." Thanks for being there.
