Capital Choice Consumer Credit ripoff deceptive company takes money from my checking account!!! Miami Florida
I wish I had seen this site earlier. I am so mad at this company. I noticed my checking account had $99 withdrawn. Come to find out it was these idiots!!
I called and they answered as "Roam Communications" and said it was for roadside assistance which I never signed for or accepted from them. I told them they better never touch my account again. The woman kept asking about my address and I told her where to go!! I cannot believe theze people can do this and get away with it.
I had to call my bank and go through a bunch of s**t because of these idiots!! How come nothing has been done to stop them??? I see I am not the only one that has had money withdrawn from an account. I do know that I have learned a lesson from this.....never trust the asses that call about credit cards or anything of the sort!!!!
Also, they don't send your check back to you!!! I was told they keep it for your checking account routing number to access the account.
My bank says to send them a certified letter telling them not to take money from the account again and to cancell the card. This way it closes the account with them. If they do take money from the account you have grounds for court.

Here is my update......today is 3-26-02. I have called Roam Communications to ask them to cancel this roadside service. After a hard time with them, they claim that it has been cancelled. But......they also told me that my account is now under investigation!!! I asked why?? The man told me because of the $99.00 they took from my account. I may be entitled to get it back. So, what are my chances?? He said "you probably won't get it back". So then why the investigation?? I told them to keep the $99.00. I figure to fight this it will cost me more than the $99.00. I do hope this is the end of them.
