I spent a day entering applications to credit cards so I could build my credit, then I sat and waited for the results to come in the mail. When I recieved a pre-approved "guarenteed" credit card with a limit to $5,000. To recieve your card you had to pay a membership fee of $39 or express your card for $43.

I decided that it couldn't hurt to express it so I made a money order of $43 out to Capital Choice Consumer Credit.
I failed to realize that the letter did not leave a phone number or an email address. Approximately 2 weeks later I decided that express wasn't very express.

So I got on the web to search for the card service, only to find other complaints just like mine.

So much for the "platinum card" that came with a $5,000 credit limit and 0% Intro A.P.R. for the first year. Talk about dishonest as well as a fraud.

It comes with a very convincing "approval certificate. The fine print says, "this approval guarantee is fully enforceable under applicable laws. You may earn automatic line increases at no extra cost." Buyers Beware!!
