Complaint Review: Capital Choice Consumer Credit

I sent $39.00 to receive a guaranteed $5,000 credit limit Platinum card. The check was cashed on December 19th and as of today (1/4/02) I have not received the card, which was supposedly waiting to be mailed to me upon receipt of my check and completed form. I looked up their phone number on the internet and a recording came on advising me the phone was disconnected.

Be aware of this company, their advertisement is very official looking, including the small print on the back of the certificate describing the awards program included, etc.

If anyone has any ideas as to how to get my money reimbursed I would be very appreciative.
