In the beginning of October 2005 I applied to FreeCreditReport.com. A few days after I got to see me credit report, I got a phone call from Capital Financial telling me that I had been referred by FreeCreditReport.com to them for a credit card to establish my credit.

I went along with everything and gave them all my information that they asked for. I was told that I would receive 4 $50 vouchers good towards any purchases I make with the card. After the 1st phone call, I was supposed to receive a document that needed my signature for authorization to make the withdrawal from my account, within 1 week.

So I waited, but no paperwork ever came. I didn't think anything about it, since I thought they couldn't take any money out. Then the $200 had been removed from my account, that's when I called them at their 800 #, but all I kept getting was a voice mail system. I left several messages within a few days. Still no return phone calls.

I figured it was just a long processing time. I kept checking my mail, but nothing ever came. So when I went to look at my bank statement, there was another withdrawal for $200 from my account. I went histerical.

Capital Financial had taken out $400 from my account, without authorization. I never signed anything for them to take any money out. I immediately called my bank and refused authorization. I am supposed to monitor my account closely just in case they try it again.

Now realizing why my checks were bouncing, my bank told me that once the problem was corrected, I have to go to a local branch and try to get NSF fees that have been piling up, because of the $400 taken out of my account.

I finished all paperwork for my account at my bank. That was on Saturday.

Today is Monday, and I got all $400 back. So the quicker you work, the more of a garantee you'll have to get your money back.

All I can say to you is, watch your accounts like a hawk, or you to can get screwed.
