Capital Financial Card ripoff They took my money and sent me a catalog with stupid items!! Largo Florida

I recieved a telephone call from a Capital Financial Card representative, the representative stated that I had been approved for a Capital Financial Credit Card. She stated that I had a $2000 limit and cash advantage.Then she told me that they would have to take $200 out of my checking account to start the card and that I would recieve four $50 checks in the mail.
I called my bank the next day and they had already took the money from my account.


When I did not recieve my card, I called the Capital Financial Card representative and ask them why I had not recieved my card already.She told me that my card was on hold. I told her that it should not be on hold considering my money had been taken out of my account. She told me that I would be recieving a paper in the mail and that I needed to sign it in order to recieve my card. About two weeks later I got the letter in the mail so, I signed and returned it. I finally got my card in the mail, but it was with a catalog and a letter stating that I could only purchase items out of this catalog. I was furious because no one ever told me i would only be allowed to purchase items out of a catalog.


I called the Capital Financial Card representative and told her that I wanted my money back because I did not agree that I would only be able to purchase items out of a catalog. She said " I have a letter on file where you signed it, I said" The money was already taken out of my account, I had no choice if i wanted my money." She said the money was non refundabe. I said that it was just a misunderstanding and i would send them the catalog and card back if they would just give me my money. She said she could not do that, but there was an address that i could send a letter to stating the problem. I sent a letter to this place about two months ago and have not recieved anything back. I am very displesed with this company and want something done about it.
