Capital First Bank lied and put me in a deep whole rip-off Miami Florida
On July 12th I received a call from Capital First, telling me that I was approved for a MasterCard that I had applied for. I didn't question it because I had applied for one maybe a year ago. The lady took all of my information and told me that the amount of $29.95 would be taken out of my account. And then that within 7-10 business days I would receive a packet filled with coupons and special offers. I said no problem. Well they got their money, plus the $59.95 charge which was not supposed to taken out until they received my authorization for back from me.
Well, as you can see that did'nt go that way. I am now in a financial hardship because I've had to pay at least 170 dollars in overdraft fees. Because they sent amounts to my account that were not authorized by me. Now I did agree on the first one, but not the other two. But anyway, every time i called they always had a different story as to why I hadn't received my packet or my card. So, I've decided to bring this to an end.
They have truly ruined me of getting any kind of mastercard. Because if mastercard will allow these crooks to represent them then I don't need them.
On August 19, I contacted CFB to ask them to stop attempting to with draw the $99.95 amount out of my account. At first the lady told me that they couldn't stop the process, after I explained to her the position that I was in she said that she would cancel my card. So, we'll see.

Christina...I hope you closed your bank account. I was told the same thing...they WILL keep trying to take money from you as long as the account remains open. They will use different names and withdraw different amounts.
Good Luck
