Just to warn everyone out there who has been called by First Capital. Sunday July 14th, I received a call from Capital First based in Miami Florida. Can you believe they called me on Sunday right in the middle of eating my Baked salmon dinner(LOL). I told not to call me on sunday, and he stated he is sorry, can I call you at another time. I said sure call me tomorrow. 3pm Mountain time, July 15th, he called me back. He explained to me that my application has been approved for a Visa/Mastercard for $2500.00.

I said I dont remember filling out an application. He stated back to me that it must have been a old application from a long time ago or something. I said Ok. Well any ways, he explained the the offer they were trying to sell me. It was a whole bunch of mumbo jumble of all kinds of programs along with the card. He also stated that the card was 0% interest for as long as I had it. Then next step he wanted to know what my routing number was for my bank account. I said I can not give that over the phone. Low and behold he starts reading my routing number to me.

I looked at one of my checks and yes he was right. I asked him how did he get this number, and he stated he has access to all routing numbers for all banks. At that point I said no, I want to cancel. He continued to be persistent and tell me it was ok. I had also mentioned to him that there is a website www.ripoffreport.com, where I had read a whole bunch of complaints about your company. He stated that can not be possible we have been in business for 8 years. He still persisted to me that they are not a fraud or scam. I said no. I must have said no over 6-7 times. He still would not take no for an answer.

I told him, HOW MANY TIMES DOI HAVE TO SAY NO. After that the conversation pretty much was ended after that. My next step I called my bank to explain the situation to them. They lady I spoke to at my bank stated that its not normal for them to have my routing number. I then asked If I could put a block on my account, and she stated yes. Sheesh I need to close my account.

P.S Thank you www.ripoffreport.com, If it wasnt for you I probably would of agreed to this and gotten ripped off. I can not express how thankful I am for this website. THANK YOU SO MUCH....

Also, I have the whole conversation on tape for future references. And I want to help out www.ripoffreport.com and consumers in any way that I can.
