Capital First Master Card Company said they would ruin our credit if we said no to them Miami Florida
I was called by Capital First Mastercard Company the morning of 8/5/02 @10:30 a.m. I was told that I had applied for their master card, which I had no memory of doing. I told the company that I did not want their credit card. He told me that I could have a credit limit of 2500.00. I said no thank You.
The man on the phone then told me that he would put down in their records that they denied me the credit and that it would knock 63 points off my credit report.
I'm not sure if they can actually do that or even if that's legal. I was not denied by them, I denied their credit card.
I will be calling the credit bureau to inform them of this company and to not allow them to do this to me.
