Capital Grant Association Ripoff 2 scam fradulent Champlain New York
My husband was advised by a co-worker how to go about getting a grant. He went on-line and found a website that said to enter what type of grant and other information and that someone would contact us regarding this. He was contacted by Capital Grants Association 2.
We were told that a $299 fee applied and if we were not approved then we would be refunded $249. He received a rather large packet with information and a form to fill out and send back, which we did. He called sometime after that and left a message, which someone at the time did return our call and said it was still in process. This must of been in Nov. 2006. It is now May and we have called and called with no return. We again called and the number is disconnected.
We are a family with only my husband working and a disabled child. These people have stolen hard earned money from a family that needed it. I was weary of the situation and should have trusted my instincts.
