Three months ago there was a pounding on my front door. Thinking there was an emergency I answered, only to find a 20-something man with a brochure asking if he could show his product. I looked at his truck, it looked professional with a logo and everything with a freezer in the back. I said OK, then tried to back out but he was very persistant. Showed me shrink-wrapped meats in insulated bags and told me they were restaurant-grade, wanted to charge me $300! I said no, that I was unemployed, he then called his "boss" and got "permission" for a lower price. I put my foot down but finally conceded to hamburger patties for around $40. I gave him a check (no way I was giving my CC!) and he left. I tried one burger that day, it was mooshy and tasteless even when covered in cheese, pickles and condiments. I found the rip-off reports afterward. My check was never cashed; I wonder what would have happened if I had given my CC??
