I was totally shocked that a tow truck pulled up in my driveway and just hooked my van up and towed it away. I have sent CapitalOne Auto Finance 2 letters asking them if they could help me in any way for just 3 months to get back on track. I bought the van in 2003 and have been pretty regular with my payments until last March when my Dad died and I missed so much work( I don't get paid if I don't work). Single mom with 2 boys who I have to support until I got married in August. I don't understand why they did not respond to my letters.

I am very sorry that you are in this position. I realize that Capital One Auto Finance might not be very customer friendly, but I don't think that they are under any obligation to do anything other than what your original agreement was. If you did not perform your obligations as agreed upon, they had the legal right to reposess.
