Capital One Auto Finance wrong total, refusal of payment plan Plano Texas
In June 2005 our 2001 Chevy was repossessed as per my request when I found the front clip sitting in my driveway one morning. They sold the vehicle 4 months later for $6500.00. I have talked to 12 different people on this account balance so I could possible pay it off and have got 12 different total on what we own. The last woman I talked to told me $6,900.00 which I was willing to pay in payments, she refused to let me send in the payments and wanted to take it out of an bank account. Beings I do not have a bank account this was a little hard to do and I told her I would send the payment in 2 days but that was not good enough for them. They refused to let me send it through the mail. This is now messing with our credit it is the only negative on our account. I would like to get this matter settled as soon as possible.

I would check with you local law office or legal aid. There are some laws out there about refusal to accept payment and the loan now bein auto payed off as when they refuse to accept payment it means you do not owe them any money
