It all started when I first received the credit card in the mail because I wanted to get one, they seemed to be all nice and ready to cater to whatever I needed.

It's been over 2 years and every year I have been told that I would be receiving a credit increase because my account is being looked at, and capital one herein after called (They) states this everytime I call, well I have not seen a credit increase what so ever and I have been lied too.

Now the service im receiving is top notch, but don't lie to your customers and make them think they have a large amount of money coming to them or to be available to them as you did myself.

It's not fair what you have did to myself and many other people who have had the same issues as I do all the time.

Im looking to have this cleared without the same excuse I always receive from Capital One and to have my credit increased as promised 2 years in a row, you will also find 2 BBB reports regarding this issue that was ignored and never replied too.

Duane,

You received a secured credit card from Cap1, right?

Right. They do a soft inquiry on your credit every 3, 6 or 9 months and check to see if you are more "credit worthy" than when you first obtained the card. If your credit remains poor (it should improve with responsible use of your card, unless you have negative credit items which drag it back down) then they will not improve their offering to you at all. Why should they? You remain a poor risk.

If your credit has improved and you are receiving poor service from Capital One then apply with another issuer, they are almost universally more responsive than Capital One, but require that your credit be above board.

As for Capital One lying, lets be honest here. They tell you that they do periodic reviews of their account holders and MAY increase your limit, but no guarantees were made were there?
