When we applied for our Capital One accounts we purchased the protection plan not expecting we would ever have to use it but thankful we had it when my wife broke her ankle at work. What a nightmare once we had to file a claim.  We had to submit everything from doctors notes to letters from her employers, this whole process took over a year and a half (still paying on our account as instructed) and after numerous phone conversations and e-mails, Capitol One admitted we had over paid and were due a credit.  Well this is where our nighmare gets worse someone dropped the ball and we were then told because of overlimit fees and late fees we were no longer going to receive our refund!  We we stopped paying until we got the refund due us then Capitol One hired and attorney and took us to small claims court. When we spoke to their attorney she told us the only refund we would receive was on that was issued in arbitration a measly $45. This is were we stand and we are outraged we did EVERYTHING from A to Z that was demanded by Capitol One and because they are a multimillion dollar business they are laughing at us and this is so unfair!
