I paid for payment protection on my card from October 2003.

Disabled in December 2003 through motor accident.
Notified the card protection people in January.
Sent a claim form in February 2004.
Doctor signed and returned it to them in March.
They rejected my claim because I was unemployed at the time of the accident.

They handed me over to credit reporting bureau for late payments.

I cantacted both Capital One and Payment Protection companies and they both told me it was the other Company's problem.

I asked for a credit if they were not covering me. They gave me a credit in May of half of what I paid them monthly for 6 months.

I wrote and showed them the Payment plan sent by their Vice President showing that there is no mention of unemployment terms and sent it registered. They have not replied and have kept charging me late payment and since two months over the limit fees. The late payment fees have put me into the over the limit fees since 4 months.

One one at Capital One wants to know the problem and Payment Protection say it's a Capital One problem. Capital One told me to contact Payment Protection. The vice-president of Capital one is the person who is selling this protection plan.
