I have 4 Capital One credit card accounts. I have noticed my credit score going down over time even though I have no negatives and a long standing credit history.

Upon examination of my credit report I found that Capital One reports 0 (zero) credit limit for all accounts. This makes debt to credit ratio out of proportion and intentionally drives credit score down, severly limiting borrowing ability.

I contacted Capital One customer service and asked that the credit limit be reported and explained that it was damaging. Customer service rep. advised supervisor told her that they do not have to and will not report credit limit. I then explained again that it hurts their consumers and she explained again that Capital One will NOT report the credit limit.

Capital One fails to comply with THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT by not reporting the credit limit (not high credit which is not a facter in the credit score). I can only assume it is Capital One's intent to do damage to their customers credit scores. Thereby always having a cutomers who can not acceive a higher credit status then what Capital One will give them via their credit cards.
