Complaint Review: Capital One

Closed account in September, 2001. Was advised needed to close out "additional automatic life insurance billing." Contacted company and cancelled insurance. Bills KEPT coming. I have not purchased ANYTHING in well over 2 years...yet I have a balance of $243.27???? This after I CLOSED THE ACCOUNT!!!! Persons very unhelpful. Transferred around to nowhere. No help in sight!!!!! This is ruining my credit! What can we do? Attorney General's office? Ashleigh Cleveland, Ohio
