I remember getting a call from a Telemarketor over a year ago, trying to sell me a book on getting Government Grants. The representative on the other line sounded like he was of middleeastern decent, and wanted my account information. The cost of the goods was arount $300 or so. He told me that he needed to record me saying my account information and to say yes when it prompted me to, and that if i said no, it was need to start over.

I proceeded to give them my account information over the phone, (which i really should not have done)and they said i would recieve my goods in about 3 or 4 weeks. They gave me a confirmation number and said if i has any questions or whatever, to call this 800 number.

After about a month, i had not recieved anything, so i called the number to just get a refund, and asked why i hadn't recieved anything. They went on to tell me there was some problem with shipping, and that they had just sent it off, so they couldn't give me a refund. After that, i recieved the stupid goods which was only a bunch of crap! I went on and took that one as a loss since i was stupid enough to give them my information.

NOW, a year or so later, i'm looking at my account online, and there's an electronic check saying i've authorized a $299.00 purchase for God knows what!! After seeing the name of the company on the check, (since with my online banking you're able to view the check) the name of the company sounded fairly familiar, (Capitol Payment Systems) so i knew then that this same company must have just RIPPED ME OFF!!

Now I have to close my account and go through the motions of reporting a fraud claim. WOW, Lesson Learned!
