On 01/07/2014 I contacted Capital Remodeling to just get estimate on window for my home. And the so called manager/owner came out to my home with his licensed that expired on 12/30/2013 stating that the state of Georgia is slow at sending out his replacement which at of all me years of being the medical field I have once never heard of that found it to quite odd for a business owner or so called manager to do marketing with a current licensed the second thing that I found quite odd was that he kept repeating himself about other window companies in the greater Atlanta area. After myself and my husband told him that we were not interested in financing windows and if we did decided to do business with his company that it would be no time soon we are just looking for an estimate and we are not interested in making any decisions at this moment and we will call if and when we were interested and began to  attend to my children  leaving my husband at the table Mr. Manger/Owner the owner gather his belongings to make a long story short my husband who is a wounded warrior and an 100% disabled veteran and wounded warrior got tricked in to signing a contract with the manager from Capital Remodeling without his knowledge.

Today 01/16/2014 from the manger/owner asking when was a good time for him to stop by and pick up a check for him to order supplies to start the work on our home. So I replied that we are not interested in replacing our windows at this time and when we were ready to do the work I would give him a call. Mr. Manager/Owner asked me when did make that decision and I explained him that was none of his business and he got very rude and stated that my husband signed a contract to start work while on the phone which I still trying to figure out why he is calling on our home phone that is used for faxes only. So began to I wake my husband up to ask him with the so call owner/manager on the speaker phone asking him did you sign a contract with Mr Owner/ to do work on our windows and my husband stated NO!!!

Then he began threaten and started recite some crap that my husband signed a contract and in the State of Georgia it’s a legally binding contract and that my husband should have sent a letter in writing if he had changed his mind and that the contract was not with me it was with my husband and I stated to him why in the H*LL WOULD WE SEND A LETTER TO YOU IF WE BOTH AGREED IN YOUR FACE THAT WE DID WANT ANY WORK DUE FROM YOUR COMPANY AND WE MADE OURSELVES CLEAR and I hung up the phone. Ryan continued to call and I repeated the same thing to him and on the 4th called I advised that If he called tone more time and continued to harassed my family that I will be contacting my lawyer as well as the Veteran administration as well file a complaint of defrauding a wounded Veteran and he said no there is no need to contact any one and I advised yes it is I advised him that he was a scam artist and hung up on him.

I normally don't write reviews on companies because I have better things to do with my life but after reading reviews on this company and seen that I was not the only one to be or tried be scammed by this company I thought I would share my experience to prevent this from happening to someone else.
