Complaint Review: Capital Trust Financial

Hello all....just like Alma/Tenn. I have been scammed from this fraudulant loan company as well. After appliying for a personal loan online I too was contacted by a "Ron Lack" who informed me that I would receive a $9000.00 loan upon agreeing to secure this loan via a money gram funds transfer of $1640.00 & a money gram fee of $80.00 totaling $1720.00 to a Linda Spiller in Carman, Manitoba, Canada. I was also told by this alleged Mr. Lack that I would receive the loan via wire transfer to my bank account the following day...Just like Alma I waited & waited and much to my dismay never received the funds.

After continually trying to contact Mr. Lack via extention 314 I finally received a response from a Mr. Jefferey Greene at ext 0. Mr. Green had informed me of the same exact information that the "private lender" needed additional funds in order for me to secure this loan due to unspecified information on my credit report. After a short conversation with Mr. Greene, who I informed sounded just like Mr. Lack on the phone, I was told I would get a call back with in 20 minutes. I was then contacted again by "Mr. Greene" only to be told that the money would be returned with in 30days per the lenders billing cycle.

I immediately contacted a lawyer & when the lawyer tried to contact the alleged company on the phone he was continually given a recording stating the the worldcom phone account was on hold?....

Since this incedent I have contacted the Better Business Bureau of CT & have filed a small claims suit (although I doubt I will prevail). I will continue to pursue this further with all avenues till some resolution comes of this false advertising via this alleged loan company.

These person/persons are frauds...please do not allow them to con you into sending money to false private lenders...there are no such lenders.
