As many of you know, Capital Vacations (Travel Agents Network, Guardian Marketing) offers false discount vacations and travel agent perks to unsuspecting consumers!

Do not be fooled by their gimics or their pushy and persuasive attempts to convince you of the genuiness of their company. They will say that they will mail you information regarding these discounts and a free Florida vacation and will tell you that you have 2 weeks to cancel the membership to the discount program and 1 week to cancel the Florida vacation once the info packet arrives. However, the packet may never arrive and before you know it they will charge your account!

The charge for the Florida Vacation will come from The Travel Agents Network and the charge for the activation fee and Travel Agent Discount Membership will come from Guardian Marketing, which is really Capital Vacations.

You can request a refund from The Travel Agent Network at (888) 320-6847. This refund SHOULD be processed in 3 to 5 days. You can call Capital Vacations (Guardian Marketing) at (888) 824-7675 and cancel your membership, but you must talk to a representative to request a refund and then send a letter requesting the same to Capital Vacations, 696 1st Ave. North, Suite 200, St. Petersburg, FL, 33701. Supposedly this refund should be processed in 30 days. If not, you may call the number back and at that time a representative will be authorized to refund the money directly to your account.

I was duped by this scheme and am waiting to see if I will ever get the money back! GOOD LUCK with your claims!

Thank you for your Report,
I too, was duped by them and found out via the District Attorney's office in Penalis County Florida, that Three Formal Complaints are being pursued against Capital Vacations as we speak. I am pursuing one also, and I encourage you to do the same. They are a trickle down corporation that does business with Bank of America, and my advice is for that bank to stop dealing with crooks. I have called the above numbers, but have yet to speak with a Real person. I will keep trying and will post again.
