CapitalOne ripoff misinformation about mileage rewards lost 106,000. miles Mclean Virginia

Inquired if Company would waive renewal fee and asked if I would lose mileage rewards if I cancelled membership. Was advised by rep that the 19.00 fee will not be waived, but, I would retain mileage. Turns out rep was wrong and I lost 106,000. miles or points because of the misinformation. After numerous calls have basically been told "too bad". Was advised by a Manager I should have been advised I would lose mileage as part of their disclosure right up front but was not. This may be company policy now that air costs are so high. Any reputable company would admit their mistake and do something about this. Why would I cancel and lose 106,000. miles for 19 bucks? Also believe I spoke too someone not situated within the United States - don't think my personal info should be out there like this.

CapOne made good on error by one of their reps. Sent check to me for lost mileage! Have no problems with them at all. Took 2 weeks to get striaght!
