Complaint Review: Capitol Acquisitions & Management Company

Camco or Scamco, called my neighbors to send me a message to call them. Can you believe they actually contacted my neighbors and acted like they were trying to get intouch with an old friend.

They finally somehow got our phone number and called my wife.
She told me a company called Camco called to collect on a debt they said we owed. The lady's name who called said her name was Bonie Larson.

I called them back and told her she had the wrong guy and I did not owe them a penny. But just because I was curious, I asked her who the creditor was. She could not tell me so I asked for a supervisor. She put on some guy named John, he told me they bought the account of a debt I owed back in 1986. It was a Visa card and the amount they wanted was $5206.12. I told him I have no such account but I did ask him for my social he had, and he gave it to me without even verifying if in fact he was talking to Charles Mason. But I told him it was incorrect and he had the wrong guy. He appologized and said he would take me out of their system, but what else will they do, Im checking my credit record Now!!!

Im so glad I looked into this before giving them my actual Identity, SSN, or paying them a penny! I did call back Bonie and left a message that I found out they are a scam and Im reporting them.

I had a feeling it was a scam and acted quickly. I then went on the internet to find out anything I could about them. Thank God I found Rip Off........
Im going to contact the BBB and Attorney General about them.
Stand firm everyone, don't pay them a cent and lets prosecute the frauds. Sincerely, Charles Mason
