I have read many reports about Capital Credit and I wonder why the goverment hasn't thrown these guys in jail. One observation, though; It seems Cap Choice target people with poor credit reports. I apologize if I'm mistaken, but some of the filers have said they couldn't get cards from other lenders.

A couple of ripped-off consumers said they planned to take vacations using their new credit cards.

If you have poor credit, your first priority should be rebuild your credit record, not taking on a vacation. Questionable spending decisions is what put a lot of consumers in a bad credit position to begin with, making them targets for rip-off artists like Capital Choice.

Before getting in more debt, rebuild your credit with a secured credit card from a bank or credit union. You set your credit limit by depositing, for example, $1,000 . That gives you a credit line of $1,000. You can charge up to that limit, and the credit union will keep your money as collateral. As you make payments, funds are released for you to use again. Your payment record will be reporting to the major credit bureaus and you'll soon be able to get unsecured cards.
