Capitol Grant Association ripoff They took 299.00 dollars for assistance for a grant They took the money and they don't answer there phone and they don't respond to my messages New York City New York
I was interested in goverment grants and I went and applied online about four months ago. A company called Capitol Grant Association contacted me on my cellphone. They told me that they will assist in the process in getting a grant that they will get me 5,000 thousand dollars or more for a fee of 299.00 which would be the processing fee that is needed for them to get my grant package completed and processed. So they wanted me to set a date that they could electronically can debit 299.00 out of my account. I set the day for the 28th of july. It took a few days for it two post and it posted on my account August 2,2006. They were to send a grant package two weeks later and this was a package that was sent and received the 17th of august. It was one blue booklet with about twentyfive questions of my personal information and my family's information and then questions about my work history,medical,financial. In the end of the book they asked what would I do with the money and why do I want grant funds. So I sent it back the very next day and during this process communication was good.I spoke with a man and he told me that it would take two months and if I was denied the first time they would try three times to get a grant if denied by the government.I have not heard from them since.
