How is it that my account had payment protection plan that I paid for each month based on acct balance. 3.95 per 100$ spent just for instances like mine , my account was current when I activated your program I enrolled in but yet they only made one payment the fine print and your term state upon activating benefits they will cover min payment for up to 12 months or when able to return to work, so you charge me for a program that never even took effect and trash my account with negative reporting to credit bureaus and now Capitol one wants to put the blame anywhere but themselves because they know there in the wrong , Capitol one doesn't even offer the program anymore due to all the errors and cases like this one, nice scam , I will keep on telling everyone about how dirty and low and lack of follow threw the company has and how bad it is to be involved with Capitol one until they own up to there mistake , I called as soon as I was released from hospital to bring account up to date and found all this out ! Thanks for the very merry Xmas , great to see how you treat your troops who protect your way of life , YouTube video post coming soon with proof of errors on there own letter head

You activated the "payment protection plan" too late. You activated it after you stopped paying on the card, right? Two days after your accident you activate a payment protection plan and expect it to pick up your payments from that point forward? Read the terms and conditions, the one that tripped you up is the following:

PAYMENT PROTECTION does not protect you against losses arising from events which occurred before you enrolled in PAYMENT PROTECTION

I don't know of any plan that would cover you for accidents that happend prior to enrolling in the plan. That wouldn't make any sort of business sense.
