Complaint Review: Capitol One

Got My credit card bill from Capitol One and noticed that I had been over charged by them on my finance charges. Called and spoke to one of the representitives for the company, and He confirmed that I had been over charged on my finance charge. Now here is the kicker, his headset conveniently went out so supposedly He could not hear a word I further had to say, but I could hear him fine. He told Me that he would credit my account (are you ready for this) a whopping $8. I have to wonder how many other people out there are being over charged. And where do they get off giving Me back only $8 when we all know d**n well that if it had been an error on my part that they would charge Me at least $28 or more. So Mrs. Carrie who has had an answer for every other person with a Capitol one dispute, What do You have to say about this one? And how could your company computers of computed something like the finance charge incorrectly? How often does that happen? Alisa Jackson, Georgia
