I really don't know where to start. Every thing I read from the other letter writers hit the nail on the head, something I would like to do to some of their VERY RUDE employees that make you feel like a second class citizen (I think that's in their job description)

Last year I was hospitalized, it's been hard trying to
straighten things out. I still see a specialist, and not able to quite work yet.

I've talked to these people, and was never told of a Hardship Program I just found out about it by reading these pages. The other people writing these letters are right re: late fees($35.00) that put you over limit,so you are charged with yet another fee:$29.00. The other card companies were really nice and tried to work with you. I just looked at their applications;8.9% no annual fees. My rate is 25.90% most of it on fees they have tacked on.

For 3 days I have been calling these people, Just to get a recording of payments due, balance, and the best one: I can't use the card. Big Deal. They don't list a number to get in touch with a human being so how can you make any progress. You have to talk to them somehow even if all their energy goes into BEING EXTREMELY RUDE!

Actually the recording sounds much more compassionate, wish I could talk to him. Isn't that something I know want to pay them off and can't get anybody on the phone.
If you young people are thinking of a getting a card, shop around, go to your bank, just don't do the Capitol One thing, big mistake. Good Luck to all trying to pay this thing off!
