CAPITOL TOYOTA CAPITOL CHEVROLET-SUBARU-CADILLAC DO THEY REALLY HAVE THE CARS THEY ADVERTISE? OR IS IT A PLOY TO GET YOU TO THE LOT? SALEM Oregon
I was looking on the internet and found a certified 2006 GMC Envoy with a warranty at Capitol Chevrolet in Salem OR. I did the online application to see if I qualified for the loan. I was told I qualified and then filled out a form for my trade in to get a price as there was a payoff. I was given the worse case scenerio and the payments were in my price range. I live 300 miles away from Salem and told the sales man that I would be there the next day. I had also been in contact with the internet sales manager to make this deal. I got to the car lot about 2:30 on Sat (the day I said I would be there) and was told they sold the vehicle. I talked to the salesman and the manager on my way up there and neither one bothered to mention the vehicle was not there. Then I was told by the saleman that he would make it right with me. All he showed me were vehicles with no warranty and all scratched up, needed tires etc...He showed me another Envoy that was all scratched up. When I mentioned it to him he replied by saying "well they are used" I told him "maybe so, but why would I trade in a vehicle with low miles that has been well taken care of...go further in debt for something in worse shape?" Oh he did offer to give me a 30 day warranty..whoo h*o. He told me that he was working for Toyota and they don't offer the GM certified warranty. I asked then how did I get you on the Envoy? he said they sell from both lots. I would think long and hard if you plan on doing business with this car dealership. They didn't even offer to reimburse me for gas expenses.

Remember the song entitled- 'Smoke on the Water', by Deep Purple? I believe it was from their album entitled- 'MACHINE HEAD' back in the early 1970's, correct?
Perhaps the NEW version of that song could be entitled- 'Smoke in the Matrix', huh? It could be a song about the SMOKE that filled the cabin of that 2006 Toyota Matrix whose airbag deployed for NO REASON as the 19 year old student was traveling at about 70 MPH on a California freeway.
Simply 'Google' this- ENGINE SLUDGE, and go to the consumeraffairs website about Toyota Engine Problems and click on 'Airbags' when you get there. I believe the boy's mother posted the complaint. I believe her name is Martha.
Don't forget to read ALL of those complaints, and ALL of the ENGINE complaints too. Let's hope that Brittany, of Angleton Texas has healed from her CRASH. I believe her complaint was posted on, or near 6-16-2007 under the ENGINE complaints. Her seat-belt didn't function properly when she hit the Honda Pilot at about 45 MPH, and her AIRBAG did NOT DEPLOY.

P.S. Don't forget to read about the LAWSUIT where DEFECT REPORTS were being ALTERED, according to Katy Cameron, who was a QUALITY AUDITOR at a plant in California which was shared by Toyota & GM. Hmmm, isn't that where Toyota Matrixes received their parts? Hmmm, isn't that in CALIFORNIA where the 19 year old student had a DEFECTIVE AIRBAG in his Matrix? Hmmm, hmmmm, hmmmmmmm? Isn't the Pontiac VIBE really a Toyota Matrix, or at least a 'cousin' of the Matrix? Don't they share some of the SAME PARTS?????????

If you 'Google' this- ENGINE SLUDGE, you can go to the consumeraffairs website and read all the Toyota Engine Problems that consumers have posted about their TOYOTA VEHICLES.
If you click on 'Airbags' while you're at that site, you can read those complaints too. There's one complaint by a student who was driving his Toyota on the highway in California and the airbag deployed for NO REASON!!!! The explosion from the airbag deployment filled the cabin of his Toyota vehicle with heat, and he was dazed, and startled by this event! HE WAS IN SHOCK!!!! You would be too, correct?
You can read all the complaints and you'll eventually find it! The EXPLOSION of the AIRBAG, for NO REASON, caused him to SWERVE into the other lanes, and by some miracle he wasn't harmed, and there was no accident. He was lucky, wouldn't you agree?
Make sure to read about the LAWSUIT that was filed by Katy Cameron who worked at a plant shared by Toyota & GM when you're at that site too. DEFECT REPORTS were being ALTERED, according to Katy, who was a QUALITY AUDITOR for Toyota!!
Please 'Google' this- YOUTUBE TOYOTA SEQUOIA DEFECT, and watch the video of a TOYOTA SEQUOIA that flipped over on I-95.
Imagine all the innocent CHILDREN that are being transported in TOYOTA VEHICLES everyday like that SEQUOIA, and that TOYOTA where the AIRBAG DEPLOYED FOR NO REASON, and SIENNAS, whose airbags are defective too!! I can remember reading a complaint about a Toyota Sienna whose airbags DIDN'T DEPLOY when it was in an accident at that site!
