A girl that my girlfriend works with got me a job at her boyfriends workplace. Told me that i would be cleaning carpets. Didnt think that would be to hard to do... cleanin carpets and be on my way. Went to the interview, guy was super excited to hire me right on the spot. Same for the other 10 people behind. Didnt think anything of it at first...

Went to the first day to see what the place was about. Walked into a room where there was 9 other people sitting on the foldable metals chairs with a projector video on, showing a scene from a episode of "The Life Of 50 Cent". I shook my head a little as to why someone would play something so stupid to their soon to be employers that would pretty much not care in h*ll on what 50 cent is doing.

Mr. SMITH now begans to talk to us... telling us about how this is the best decision that we have made to be part of his crew. That we would be making over $1600/mth and that we could win trips.... if... you... sale... kirby carpet cleaners.

the only kirby that i knew about was from nintendo... but i didnt know that there was a vacuum named kirby. i sat there and thought.... ok... this is what im going to use to clean the carpets and make people happy. i was wrong...

later in the meeting, he told us that we would be saling them to people. showing them a demostration first then pitching a sale. thats when i relised i wasnt going to enjoy this.

after the meeting... i remembered he mentioned about how people have said that theyre a scam and that they rip customers and employers off. he quickly denied that and said that whoever mentioned that has never worked for kirby.

anyways... i got home and did a little search. did a wikipedia search on kirby. MR. SMITH was off on his history informantion about what the first kirby was made. also, i found this site and learned about how people that are selling kirbys are just slumlords and that you can find an affordable kirby on ebay.com.

and if MR. SMITH ever reads this post... theres one thing he needs to know. he needs to go back to school cause he doesnt know sh*t about math. tried to do math and ended up screwing up the answer but he didnt know and i didnt say anything cause i didnt wanted to sound like a d****e.

ANYWAYS!!!! im glad i did a little search on the net to find out the truth about kirby and what they are...

P.S.-the woman that suggested me to get the job there knew what her boyfriend was doing... talk about being a sh*tty person.

False Information

#6REBUTTAL Owner of company

Mon, May 06, 2013

I am the owner of CAP Solutions. I have reviewed the reports on here and all of what I have read has been mostly false information. I noticed most of the reports were made of a Mr. Smith. He has not been with our company for going on 2 years now. So anything having to do with him is inapplicable.

Also, these reports say you have to SALE. Just to clear that up, no sales are required for pay. We only ask our reps to demonstrate the products. That is our method of advertising. The company has done it that way for 99 years now. If a consumer wishes to purchase that is great and you will earn more, but it is not required.

Whoever wrote this report doesn't know very much about our company. If they did they would know that we have sold our products through in-home demonstrations for 99 years. Yes, you can find the product on e-bay or simliar sites but you are taking the chance they are stolen or used. Each machine has a serial # and if it is found stolen you could be prosecuted. Also, our products come with a warranty, so when you buy one from e-bay or where ever you may find one, the warranty is not active and you wont be able to get service on your machine. Which is why you can find them cheaper, because you are not paying for the warranty, shampooer, attachments, ect.

Just trying to clear some things up because apparently someone misunderstood some where along the way. We treat our customers and our employees with upmost respect and we expect the same in return. We do not appreciate the false accusations.

Hello,

I have been checking into your company as a prospective employer. Your deal sounds great! I, however am currently employed so I would be leaving my position to take a position with your company. Now I'm not so sure about your deal and here is why...

In the previous complaint, the gentleman wrote "they worked for Kirby and never got paid".  Your response was..."

I than asked what are they doing in their life right now. This person stated they are unemployed. I than stated that it is easier to blame the company than it is for us to be willing to say that I didn't like it or I was not willing to work by the company guidelines."

Never did you address the, NEVER got PAID part. Sounds like you avoided that all together and instead pointed out that they are not employed. I am employed, and I ask that you now address the main concern: Employees claiming not to have been paid by your company.

My current employer pays me exactly the way the said they would.. I wouldnt leave that for someone thats not going to pay me.

I recently purchased a Kirby from CAP Solutions!

I recently purchased a Kirby from CAP Solutions and I can honestly say the representative was completely honest with me.  Everything she said it could do, it did!  Not only that the demo she did for me was amazing, I did not realize how much dirt was actually left in my rug after my previous vacuum.  The kirby vacuum is a great product and it works marvelously!  Kirby is not a scam, and as far as employment part goes, you have to be willing to put in the "leg work" to do well.  If you're not willing to do that then you wont do well.  They don't tell you that you're going to magically make $1600 a month.  Kirby is not just a vacuum its also a carpet shampooer! It is one of the Top carpet cleaners.  If you want a good/great carpet cleaner you are going to have to pay a little more, that's all there is to it.  Plus it is made in the USA! That is worth more any day!

Sincerely one satisfied costumer,

I find it hard to believe that people have this amount of time to spend on the internet!!! I have been a rep for the Kirby Co. for 15 years. Not one time have I had a complaint from a customer, employee and never from someone who has no job and is upset because I was trying to help them!!! The great thing about life is that we all have choices. This day and age it seems we would rather try and hurt someone else's credibility rather than saying hey, this is not for me and move on in life.

I would like to explain the hire process from start to finish so that this individual will understand that what I do is honest and truthful.

1. Our company places add in the Local paper to help the fast fading economy!!

2. We set times for individuals to come into our office!!

3. Once they arrive I greet them and let them know who I am and have them fill an application out.

4. I interview them, and tell them we are Kirby and we are looking to train you in 2 areas (1) the product (2) how to answer potential prospect questions.

5. I have them call me back at a later time, so I can look over their application to see if they will be a good fit for us.

6. When they call back I let them know that I would like for them to be in orientation at 5:00 pm the following day.

7. When they come into orientation, I do not feel that sitting in a room without some sort of entertainment to watch is fair for them, while they are waiting for others to arrive. (50 cent is now out of my things for them to watch, sorry to offend you)

8. When the meeting starts I do a slide show presentation on Company History, Company Goals, Company Operations, Company Schedule, Company Vacations, and Company Pay. This way our future employee's have no question to what it is they will be doing on a day to day bases.

9. I give a short break for those who may not think that this is for them that they are allowed to leave and the ones, who would like to stay, may.

This person made a comment: "I remembered he mentioned about how people have said that they're a scam and that they rip customers and employees off." What this person asked me is. I heard coming from my friends that they worked for Kirby and never got paid. I than asked what are they doing in their life right now. This person stated they are unemployed. I than stated that it is easier to blame the company than it is for us to be willing to say that I didn't like it or I was not willing to work by the company guidelines.

So many times in our life as individuals we like to blame others for our own mistakes. I work hard to help others. Our Company is exciting and fun; we all are having the best times in our life right now. We just had our best month in business with 100 plus sales in May, 2009. Obviously we are doing something right.

I would like to apologize to this person, if for any reason they feel I misled them at all. And I wish them the best of luck and I hope they find what it is in life that they are searching for.
