We hired Capstone Property Management to take care of our house when I got military PCS orders. They had the tenant evicted last year for not paying rent. They knew we were unable to personally check on what they were doing. They took advantage of me being stationed far away. It didn't help that they never answered the phone and rarely responded to emails. One of the owners of Capstone, Ellen Adams, assured us the house was fine.

After months of people refusing to rent the house, we hired someone to do a walk-through and take pictures. The house was trashed. It was filled with dog feces, urine, garbage, the door was kicked in, and more. No repairs had been done, which we had paid for. They had been showing potential renters the house in horrendous condition and concealing the damage from us for months, costing us thousands of dollars in mortgage payments.

We fired Capstone. I informed them of the damage and our costs. The only response we got was a phony, backdated bill from Ellen Adams for "additional management fees" with her implying that it was sent to a collection agency.

Capstone has not given us anything from the security deposit. Despite numerous requests, they will not provide us with any documents relating to our contract, which violates 2010 GA Code 43-40-25, 33.2 A, B, and C

Capstone cost us thousands of dollars through negligence and fraud, money that I earned in Iraq. I strongly discourage doing any kind of business with Capstone, or the owners Ellen and Lindsey Adams.

Unfortunately, this issue has been taken to the legal level.  I believe the information provided to the customer was inaccurate.  The property was in good condition through out the term of the lease and our management. Additionally, the communication with our office was clear and there were no charges billed to the client damages. 



 I feel strongly about the issue of our integrity and commitment to each of our clients. would never allow my clients property to be damaged on purpose, or not properly follow the procedures associated with tenant issues.  Also, I certainly would never want a client to feel this way.  Because of the sensitivity of this, I felt the courts could resolve this matter in the most appropriate manner.
