Complaint Review: The Car Care Center

my car needed a camshaft.
i took it the car care center. i was told it would cost me $600.00 this was 10:00 am. but by five o clock the next day i got a call inform me that the
cost would be 1000.00 not six houndred (600.00).
i agree to the price. the car care center had my car for a week.

i went to pick my car up i ask is it ready and can it (car)make it to boerne,tx? i was inform yes it will it's ready to go.i paid and left. on or about 4/17/2005 i was on my way to work. when my car die. i was on my way to boerne,tx that's where work. i called the car care center. tow truck came back to their shop. one more week go's by. this time i call them. the car care center inform me that i needs a camshaft senisor. my cost 70.00 to 79.00 dollars. and no labor charge. which would have been extra 100.00 dollars more. i agree again. this time i don't take my car to boerne,tx. instead inform my wife to take her job. which less than five miles from my house. my wife call me at or about 9:00am of a loud noise from the engine. it turn out the car care center did not check oil. i got dead engine
