I purchased a Cadillac Escalde from Car Choice Motors in July of 2011. I had Gil sign a piece of paper that stated if there was anything majorly wrong with the car, I would receive my money back in full. I paid them with a cashiers check. I took the car the next day to a Cadillac dealer and they told me that the odometer that was not working actually read 203,000 miles. (I was told by Gil that the car had 113,000 miles when they purchased it from the auction). I went back to them and asked to return the car and receive my money back. They stated they had already paid the auction house and could not refund my money (bullshit, because I didn't receive my title until 6 months after the sale, they obviously did not pay it off right away). Gil said he would find another car for me, he looked for 2 months and said he could not find anything. Offered me $500 refund to keep the car, decided to keep the car out of frustration but never saw any money from them. They gave me 4 separate 30 day tags because they lost my license plate that I was going to have transferred. Shortly after the sale, things began to break on the car. First it was the drivers seat recline, it got stuck in the fully back reclined position, cost me $250 to fix. Then the brakes started making a horrible screeching sound, had to replace all the brakes, cost me $400. Then it was the front wheel bearing that went out, then the water pump went out, then 2 tires went flat within 2 days time. Found out the rear A/C didn't work, battery cable had to be replaced due to corrosion.. Then the big one, the transmission broke, I took it to Gil and told him what happened. I told him I know I bought the car as-is and I do not hold him responsible for the repairs. I told him I am going to park the car for now as I did not have $1,800 at the current time to fix the transmission. He volunteered to have the guys at Aamco transmissions fix the transmission for me on his account and I could pay him back within 90 days. I agreed and took the car to Aamco, and told them specifically that Gil from Car Choice Motors was paying for the repairs and to contact me if he is not. I did not hear from them for a week, then they called me and said the car is done, the tranny is fixed. They said they called Gill at Car Choice Motors and they said they are not paying for it. They told me I owed them $1,200. And it needed to be paid for right away or I could not pick up my car. I ended up taking Aamco transmissions to court as they did not get my approval to fix the transmission if Gil was not going to pay for it. They just fixed it, then they were going to sort out who was paying for it. This is not the first time I have heard of Gil sending someone to a repair shop stating that he was paying, then when you go pick up your car, you are stuck with the bill or you don't get your car. Classic scam artistry right there...

I am still having my lawyer working on preparing everything to take them to court. On top of that there was possibly odometer fraud done by Car Choice Motors, as the mileage is well documented on my car all the way up until Gil and his band of thieves received the car, kind of funny...

You should stay FAR FAR FAR away from these people, it is not worth the couple hundred dollars you will save from going to an honest upstanding car dealership. I was in their office many times, and just about every time I went, there was an upset customer claiming their car broke only a few days after the sale. There are LOTS of negative reviews online about this place. I was sitting in Gil's office when Gil's assistant went to get a pen out of the desk drawer and there was a loaded handgun right in the top desk drawer! I know that reputable car dealers do not need to have a loaded handgun in their desk drawer to do business with customers.

Gil is a scam artist and obviously does not care about ripping people off. He does not have a conscience and would probably rip his own mother off if he had a chance. Every single word that came out of his mouth was a lie. I believe he has a medical issue with compulsive lying. He could tell me that it was sunny outside and I would have to walk outside to see for myself, that is how much this guy lies!

Any person suing Gil or Car Choice Motors is more than welcome to contact me for a court hearing or to testify to their character. This place really needs to be shut down, and the only way that is going to happen is for people to speak up and make an issue of it with the right government offices. For every 3 negative reviews posted online, I am sure there are 10 more people that got ripped off that doesn't say anything about it. These people really do deserve to be behind bars or service french fries at McDonalds, not selling cars to hard working people.

STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE, IT WILL BE THE BEST ADVICE YOU EVER RECEIVED!!!
