Car Corner reposessed my car after 3 yrs and after I paid them $1,886.00 over bal. due!! outlandish ripoff late fees Tucson Arizona
I bought a 1995 Kia from this place, traded my Nissan, and my pymts were $250.00 a month, he kept bugging me about the $500.00 still due for the down, in the first yr, I was paying him $300.00-$350.00 a month!! Then down to reg. monthly pymts, and then I had some financial problems the second yr, and he agreed to lower my pymts to 200 a mo.
Then he started on me how he wanted this car off his books, and late fees applied, then he said finance charges applied, he financed the car!! There is nothing in my contract about finance charges or any accrual fees, the late fees were only $10.00 a month, I kept asking him for months what the total pay off was, he finally got back to me about 2 months later and said "about $1250.00"
After 2 1/2 yrs!!?? NO WAY!! I added up all of my recpts I had paid to him, and I had paid $1886.00 OVER the bal. due on the car!! He is from the middle east, hard to talk to, and turns things around when explaining how his paper work is. After this thing started in Iraq, is when he got really nasty and demanded I pay $1500.00 that I still owed him on the car!!
He won't give me a total of all monies he has recvd from me. He repossessed my car last week, I don't know what to do, I am a single mom of 2, work full time, and am lost at what to do to get my car back, he OWES me I want the title and any money back that I over paid to him. I have 8 days left to do something or it's gone and I'm out alot of money for nothing.
