Me and my fiancee went to trade our old car in. We were told they were having a special where you could get $100 dollars off the down payment for every year youve been on the job for up to ten years. Great! That would have made the down payment on the particular car we wanted a mere $200 dollars. Right?

We sat there for 2 hours getting grilled about everything from our living expenses to our entertianment expenses from an extremely rude and cocky salesman. Then when it came down to the calculations, our first six payments were to be OVER 200 dollars a week! A WEEK! The payments were supposed to only be 75 a week.

He said, "Oh thats a thousand dollars in "specials" that you have to pay. It turns out that you dont get anything "Off" of your down payment. You have to pay it back in the first six weeks!! Thats false advertisement. They should have explained it to us before we sat there and wasted our time for 2 hours.
They should have said deferred or delayed, not off!
We walked out.

My wife and I have bought two vehicals from Car-Mart of Tulsa on 11th and Sherdian. We have been pleased both times with the service we recieved.
The staff there help us out both times to make sure we got the vehical we wanted. There was no you cant have this one how about this one. They worked out are payment dates when are paydays changed or when i cahnged jobs to make it more convent for us. So on these remarks I must add we are planing on going there this week to buy anouther vehical..

Their intention is not to pull the wool over anyone's eyes

I purchased my first vehicle from Car-Mart over 3 years ago during the job time promotion and I chose to have the balloon down payment. Car-Mart's intent is to allow someone such as myself with no credit and not alot of money to put a huge down payment on a vehicle, the chance to drive away in a vehicle with only a couple of hundred dollars down. Most people can't come up with $1000.00 or more to put down on a vehicle. But on the other hand we could afford a balloon note or even higher weekly payments. Since then I have purchased 2 more vehicles under the same terms and could not be more pleased that they would take a chance on someone such as myself that could only give them $200 down on a vehicle that they paid alot more for, and allow me to take it that day. Their intention is not to pull the wool over anyone's eyes but to help the common working people such as myself to have a nice dependable vehicle.

Sincerely,
Satisfied customer and recent employee
