Sales person, management & company misrepresented the vehicle we agreed to buy and did not respond to our complaint.

We advised them we wanted a Chevy Suburban capable of towing an RV of specific weight & size. This would have been a 2500 series(3/4 ton). We were told the vehicle we bought was a 2500 series, and directed to the decal on the receiver hitch which showed 12,000lbs.

Thinking our RV as a little less than 12,000lbs, we agreed to buy it. When we drove to the RV dealer, with whom we had agreed to buy an RV weighing approx. 10,000lbs, and to have the vehicle equiped with the equipment to tow our "new" RV, we were advised it was in fact a 1500 (1/2 ton) model capable of not more than 7,400 lbs. We were then advised the 12,000lb rating was the "gross" combined weight of the vehicle and tow vehicle.

When we asked Car Max to exchange it for a comparable 2500 model, we were transferred from department to department, promised finally someone would call us back, but ignored and never received a satisfactory refund or exchange.

It has been nearly a month from the date of purchase and we have still not received the paperwork to title/license this vehicle, nor any response to our complaint.

The paperwork you signed clearly states what the vehicle is ie; 1500 / 2500 / 3500. Did you read the contract before signing it? You would've realized that they were selling you the wrong vehicle. Why did you belive a used car salesman who knows absolutely NOTHING about cars or trucks?
