Car rental 8 False information San Francisco California
My wife rented a car from this agency to go from San Francisco to L.A. She was going to fly to Vegas but thought it might be more fun to drive. I called Car Rental 8 and spoke to Dwane who said there was no problem, that she could leave the car in Vegas WITH NO EXTRA CHARGE. (Contact # (#18988353))
Once in Vegas, my wife was billed US 300$ for an out of state drop-off !!! Since Car Rental 8 records all calls, I then contacted them to ask them to review this case and go back to their recordings to confirm that their employee had really told me that there would be no charge. I was able to talk to a superviser Mr. Reyes who said he would get back to me. More than 1 month has passed and many messages later...They haven't done anything about this. Not even a call or an email And the rental company says they are not responsible since we did not book with them directly.
When you call Car Retal 8 the greetings says; All calls are recorded, if you do not want yor call to be recorded, hang up ! So they have a recording of the calls I made to them. Car Rental 8 is a booking agency. The actual rentor is declining responsibily
