I wanted to check on the VIN of a vehicle and it's history. I tried Car Report (carreport.com) for a cheap one shot $2.95 view of that vehicle's history. The report was totally useless with the tiny bit of information it gave.
I started to notice that each month my credit card was being billed $29.95 per month. What for? The telephone number on my credit card statement was 888-613-1485. I called it many times and it was reported as "out of order." Finally I called it and a guy named Joe (who you could hardly understand) who said that everyone who gets a cheap 1-shot report will be automatically signed up for a continuous monthly charge unless they cancel the automatic charges within 3 days of obtaining the cheap 1-shot deal.
I asked him where this agreement was because I certainly didn't see it. He said it was the very last statement on the website page in which the order for the 1-shot was placed. I never saw it nor many others who filed complaints too.
DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM...THEY ARE CRIMINALS!
