I used to take my Tundra through the Car Spa at Lynnhaven & Holland on a fairly routine (every 2 months) basis.  After this last trip, it is the last trip I will ever make there!!!

Each time I had gone through, there were always comparatively minor issues which I tended to overlook.  Swirls in the hood which could be buffed out, water residue, things which can be corrected, but generally not worth the effort or the hassle to really discuss with their manager, who is generally too busy dealing with the operations to listen to individual complaints.

What I won't accept is theft of property!!  My son and I are avid surfers, we're the type of 'crazy surfer' that will go out year-round, regardless of how cold it is.  We keep our stuff that we need underneath the rear seat (I have a crew cab long bed 4x4 07' Tundra).  During this last (and now final) visit to the Car Spa, the following items came up missing - 2 surfboard leashes (1 Da Kine, 1 FCS), each one valued at approximately $30.00, and a trailer hitch cap that is $25.00 from Wave Riding Vehicles (WRV).  Of course, none of these were 'located' at Car Spa.  It is no ironic coincidence that the leashes were in my truck when I went to the Car Spa, along with the hitch cap on the back, but missing when I got my truck back.

Auto Spa ruined my engine!

I took my car to Car Spar on Holland road in Virginia Beach in June of 2001 for a routine oil change and wash. 2 days my oil change my vehicle would not start, the vehicle would occasionally stay running for a short period of time before stalling out and would blow white smoke. After being diagnosed by my mechanic he stated that the oil change was not done properly and they left a build up that caused my oil rings to become stuck. I called auto spa and spoke with Mike the manager and he stated he could not do anything until the following day, after telling him this is my only vehical and I needed some answers today he stated he would  speak to my mechanic and call me back. after an hour he returned my call and stated that my mechanic told him everything and that he did not feel they were responsible that they use the same oil in every car and there is nothing he can do and he cant get ahold of his VP. I am now seeking legal and media action to handle this! Do not go to Auto Spa they will destroy your engine and leave you with the bill! I have been told by many mechanics that if the rings can not be fixed I will have to replace my engine!
