Cartex motors came for my car in the middle of the night because I was 12 days lates. I just had a new born. I was in n out the hospital. I been paying this car for 2 years. Now they want me to pay $460 to get it back for towing. But it's funny because someone from the dealership came for it in the middle of the night with the spair key n drove off with it. Its not fair for them to do too me after I been paying for over 2 years n my payments were $580 a month plus insurance. Plus my Cadillac been having problems from the start first was the battery n than the leak from my sunroof a.c. making noise every time I turn it on. I work too hard for my money for this people just n take it from me. I feel I got Jack in my face. Never in my life have I been Rob someone help me......

You were not robbed - it was a valid repo

According to your very own post, you were 12 days late. The lender has the right to repossess the vehicle in accordance with the loan terms you agreed to when you signed the note.

12 days beyond the due date is late.

Until you completely understand the terms of any loan you make, don't sign the paperwork.

Right now, even if you choose to not get your vehicle back, the lender has to follow your state's statutes regarding repossession. Usually, that means selling the vehicle at auction and applying the proceeds to the outstanding balance (including late fees, penalty interest, repo fees and any other fee in your loan paperwork).  Once the proceeds are applied, then the lender comes after you for the balance left on the loan. So actually you are in a worse position now because you still owe for the loan but you have no vehicle. Read your loan documents + read your state's statutes.

By the way, the dealer is under no obligation to fix anything unless you purchased a warranty.  If you do have a warranty, then pull out that contract to see what is covered and what is excluded.
