Yesterday I received an envelope addressed to me and it was from Montreal, Canada. I immediately was suspicious. After opening the envelope I found a letter, with another form to fill out along with a check for $3,962.00. The other catch was the check was from a Warwick Plumbing & Heating Corporation out of Virginia (USA).

I started my own investigation right away online and found out that both companies looked legitimate online, so I took it another step farther and called the number listed in the letter. The lady assured me that it wasn't a scam and that I had apparently been selected to be a personal or mystery shopper. I was to visit and spend money at one of the businesses provided in the letter. All I had to do is fax back what my findings were. I could also keep whatever I purchased.

The last task was to use WesternUnion or MoneyGram and wire the larger some of money $3,342. to an undisclosed recipient. She'd get that information to me when I called back with the first task completed. But first I really need to cash the check and call them back for further details.

Please DO NOT do this. The funds will never come and you'll have already spent some or all of the money that you didn't have in the first place.
