I purchased a 2006 Ford Focus from Cadinale Way Mazda on March 8, 2009. On March 21, less than two weeks later, I went to get into the car to go to work, and the battery was dead. Not knowing who to contact, I first contacted the service department around 8:40AM to explain my issue. The were very professional, but explained that I would have to speak to my salesman and transferred me over sales.

Upon speaking to the salesperson, he explained to me that I would have to speak to the used car manager, and that he did not come in until 9AM. I called back about 9:10 and spoke to John, the used car manager. He explained to me that because it was the battery, it was not thier issue. I further explained my difficult financial situation, and that I had to have someone cosign for me because I had lost my job several months ago, and found a new job, but one that paid much less. His response to that was that I should ask them for help with a new battery, because the dealership only made $52 off the deal, and were not willing to help. I called back asking for the General Manager, only to be transferred to John again.

As I began talking to him again, he put me hold without notice. He returned after about 90 seconds, stated he had spoken to his general manager, and their position had not changed. I politely disconnected the call. I called back to the receptionist and asked her for both John, the used car manager, and the general managers email address. She placed me on hold for about 60 seconds before coming back and informing me she was not authorized to give that information out. I said thank you and hung up. During the duration of these calls, I never raised my voice, never became rude, and never used inappropriate language
