Complaint Review: Cardmember Services Robocaller

This Ripoff Report relates ONLY to the illegal robocaller whose reps identify themselves as "cardmember services." It has nothing to do with the "cardmember services" departments of reputable businesses whose names appear in Google search results. Our phone number is on the Do Not Call list. This caller has nonetheless made dozens if not over a hundred illegal and harassing recorded calls after being told to stop on multiple occasions. The fact that they violate Do Not Call by placing illegal recorded calls from spoofed phone numbers shows that they are scammers. They appear to be the latest incarnation of Rachel from Cardholder Services, which was shut down by the Federal Trade Commission. Remember, if they have to call from faked phone numbers, make illegal robocalls, and hang up on you when you ask for their web address or a number where you can call them back, they must be running a scam. Do NOT give them any information such as your credit card number or any part of it, part of your Social Security number, or anything else. (Similar scam artists have indeed asked us for this kind of information, we gave this caller the bum's rush before matters got that far.)
