I ordered magazines from the kids selling door to door for points for college. I filed a complaint online. They have replied, but so far no results.

Paula- you have just paid an exhorbitant price for mags you may or may not get. Worse yet, the mgr of this newly-named crew is exploiting the young people who do his bidding. Texas has long been the home for cash-clearing houses because of lax state scrutiny and backdoor cash handoffs since the Big 3 established this region as their center of operations. As long as folks continue to buy from kids, posts such as yours will appear here and other places on the internet. Heres the real kick in the head-even if you GET the magazines, the subscription cost the magmgr nothing and the kid at the door will see nothing more than perhaps 15 dollars a day to subsist on. In the future, buy your mags from the publisher, and remember, there are NO college kids roaming the country to get through school-far too many negative associations for any school to attach itself to this sad, exploitive business. Getabunch.
