While looking for work, I became desperate to gain an edge over my competition. I decided to puff up my resume with a few well placed lies. I decided to use a fake reference service to add to its effectiveness. I made the mistake of using CAREER EXCUSE of Ohio. The man on the phone, (William) assured me, they knew what they were doing! He promised me that they would take care of me. The only thing they took, WAS MY MONEY!

They NEVER delivered the references I payed for. Not to mention, they refuse to honor their refund policy.  It clearly says on their web site that, they will refund your money AND pay you $50.00 if I don't get hired! I knew it sounded too good to be true. How could I have fallen for, (Whats now obvious) Lies!!!

I tried and tried to call them. They NEVER answer. I tried to write to William. He NEVER answers! Its been over three months since I first subscribed to their service with NOTHING to show for it! I decided to use Alibi Network. Yes! It was more money; but at least now; I'm getting what I payed for.

After I did some research, I found that CAREER EXCUSE has been in hot water for Theft of Websites. I'm thinking of starting a Class Action Suit against them for False Advertising, Fraud, Larceny by false promise and anything else a good attorney can think of. If they won't listen to me, maybe they'll listen to a Federal Judge!

My warning to the public is to AVOID CAREER EXCUSE at all costs! Dont be suckered into this Scam! I may even call the Ohio Attorney General, and see what he can do to Shut them down.

Not only can you contact the Ohio Attorney General and Federal Courts; You should also contact the District Attorney as well. These "Gentlemen" might ignore you... but the District Attorney will certainly get their attention right away. Believe me when I tell you, Courts DONT LIKE companies that refuse to honor their posted refund policies.

Also, Look at hiring an Attorney in the Ohio Area. You have a VERY STRONG civil case. I have little doubt that a Judge, ANY Judge, would not impose severe financial penalties against the business and its shareholders. Armed with a court ordered Judgement, You will then be able to attach ANY AND ALL assets (Homes, Cars, Bank Accounts) owned by the Company and/or its shareholders. You stand to win 1000 times the amount you initially spent. Good Luck.
