Career Network, Inc. Bogus Company already fined by Federal Trade Commission Orlando Florida
This company also contacted me with a follow up survey which prompted me to include my amount of debt, interest in owning my own business, returning to school, etc. I denied all these third party advertisements but continue to get these bogus emails from Career Network, Inc. After discovering they're not affiliated with a legitment company with the same name in Virginia, I started digging.
I searched through the Federal Trade Commissions website and found this...take a look. They've been fined in the past and are no longer allowed to post misleading jobs and are not allowed to be involved with promoting or selling employment...I believe what they're doing now is included.

The company referenced in your report is a different company with the same name. We are a Florida based company incorporated in the state of Delaware.
If you no longer wish to receive employment notifications from us, please unsubscribe to our mailing list and we will no longer contact you, as is required by law.
To be clear, we only contact applicants with opportunities who specifically agree to our offers during the application process. This is done for two reasons. Primarily, it is done for your privacy. We value and respect your privacy and do not in any way wish to interfere with it. Secondly, only applicants who are serious about the opportunities are of value to our promotional partners. If you mark that you wish to receive this information, but really don't, you will be adding to the workload of our partners unnecessarily. In short, you will be wasting their time, and your own.
